Performance at Studio 303’s INVOLVED

La vida está llena de sorpresas
A new performance by Adriana Disman and Victoria Stanton

Today in Verdun:
We talk about a half-disclosed love. We listen to Google translate on a loop. We use loud music to drown out Terror Happy. We are exhausted.

We disclose an intimate dialogue: we have become each other’s witness as our daily lives now intersect and begin to uncannily overlap. The surprise of ease: a mutual language in the unspoken has quickly developed. Can this happen in performance? Can this happen with an audience?
consciousness = performativity –> alters time = experience
We are creating a memory-making machine.
