Roadside Attractions makes another appearance, this time in Toronto, Ontario, as part of the annual conference Performance Studies International (PSi). The theme for the 2010 conference, Performing Publics, seemed like the perfect venue and context to present this site-specific exploration of micro-interventions in urban landscape, where filmed “flash landmarks” become the backdrop for a live performance, and an unconventional travelogue and enquiry into public space – and the possibility for fluid performative consciousness – transpires.
