Now is the Winter of Our Content is a one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary evening presenting three acts that wield words very differently. This evening will combine my intimate video explorations, along with Habib Albi’s (Moheb Soliman’s) provocative poetry, and James Irwin’s disarming music performances. This soirée aims to unveil what we take for granted about the place of language in our psychical, social, and (a)political life — and to colorfully and dramatically render the substance of our thoughts and communication.

For this evening of performance, I’ll be presenting a new work (work-in-progress) called Quiet Time At the Intersection Of — a portrayal of spontaneous human encounters sitting comfortably between art and life.
