My videopoem Oilers is being shown during the 9th Annual Chicago Anarchist Film Fest. Using a text by Vincent Tinguely as a point of departure, this 8 minute videopoem combines a series of small, intimate, awkward interactions (between myself and a toy Hummer) along with Tinguely’s incisive, lively, politically charged poetic piece about our addiction to oil.
