My videopoem Oilers is being shown during the annual Videopoem event, SEE THE Voice: Visible Verse 2008. This 8 minute videopoem combines a series of small, intimate, awkward interactions (between myself and a toy Hummer) along with an incisive, lively, politically charged poetic piece about our addiction to oil, written and recorded by Tinguely.

Beginning in June 2007, I will be working on a long-term research and writing project in collaboration with Sylvie Tourangeau and Anne Bérubé. Working with 20 of Quebec’s most noted performance artists, we are going in-depth into the complexities and inspirations in the practice of performance.
